Using the site

zbCAD is a product of DiVincentis (“we”, “us”). By using zbcad.com, its tools or its guides (“the site”), you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.

You may use the site for any lawful purpose, personal or commercial, at no charge. What you draw, calculate or export with it is yours.

No warranty

THE SITE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE”, WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

Every tool here is a work in progress. We don’t promise that any result is correct, complete or current, that a code table is transcribed or applied correctly, that a file will open in another program, or that the site will be available or keep your work.

Not professional advice

The site is an aid for people who already know the work. It is not engineering, architectural, legal or estimating advice, and it does not replace a licensed design professional, the manufacturer’s data and instructions, or the authority having jurisdiction.

You are responsible for checking every result, including sizes, quantities, layouts, patterns, schedules and forecasts, against the governing code, the contract documents and the manufacturer’s requirements before you rely on it. Cut and check a first piece before cutting a run. Measure a printed scale before using it.

Limitation of liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT THE LAW ALLOWS, WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SITE OR YOUR INABILITY TO USE IT, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, MATERIAL, LABOR, REWORK OR DELAY, EVEN IF WE WERE TOLD THEY WERE POSSIBLE.

Where the law does not allow liability to be excluded entirely, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid to use the site, which is nothing.

You agree to hold us harmless from claims by others that arise from your use of the site or of anything you made with it.

Your work and your privacy

Each tool runs in your browser. The drawings, photos, projects and files you open or make are not uploaded to us; they are kept on your own device, in your browser’s storage or in files you save. Clearing your browser’s data can erase that work, so save a file of anything you want to keep.

The site counts visits with GoatCounter, which sets no cookies and does not identify you. A few tools fetch open-source libraries from a public CDN when you use a feature that needs one, such as opening a PDF or saving a spreadsheet; that request is subject to the CDN’s own terms.

Changes

We may change the site, or these terms, at any time. A change to the terms applies from the date shown at the top of this page. If you keep using the site after that, you accept the change.
